Templeton Landscape Architecture & Planning is a firm based in Ithaca, New York, providing professional landscape architectural and planning services for local communities as well as providing design services for higher education and medical campuses, public parks, and streetscapes. Recent work has centered on coordinating large scale planning projects for flood mitigation in the Mohawk Valley and the Mohawk River basin.

The focus at Templeton is to provide quality landscape architectural and land planning services to individuals, organizations, institutions, and communities throughout New York State. Our firm’s principal has over twenty-five years of experience in landscape architectural design, landscape construction and community land use planning. Templeton was established in 2005 with a vision to create ecologically grounded projects without compromising quality, functionality, program, or aesthetics. Our design services include higher education and medical campuses, public parks, and streetscapes, and we provide general planning services for local communities. Our approach is to fully engage with our clients to understand their needs and aspirations. By thoroughly analyzing each client’s project unique features and context, we strive to marry aspiration with innovative design to create places that both fulfill contemporary needs and are contextually appropriate in their surroundings.
